MCE also eliminating center seating behind the exit row??

I was just on the phone with AA, booking a coach award on a 737, and was asked if I wanted to try sitting in one of the two rows behind the exit row whose center seat, she told me, has been eliminated and replaced with a table. I told her I'd never seen this and was surprised by it, but she insisted it's a new feature being rolled out.

Now I do recall that the AAgent's name was April - maybe I should have asked her if her full name was April First! I've done several searches and have not seen anyone mention any new coach seats on AA where the center seat is replaced by a table.. (She also told me that MCE would include all rows forward of the exit row when it's fully rolled out, so I'm already taking her word with a grain of salt, but on the other hand, she DID magically find me an award seat on a flight that two other AAgents had said were unavailable for AAnytime awards, so I do have good reason to trust her!)

I'd be interested to know if anyone has spotted one of these mythical new seat configurations or if anyone else has information from a trusted source. The seat map for these flights suggests nothing different about rows 16/17 other than a "reserved for elite/full-fare customers" star on 16.

thanks!
