Since Vueling isn't an eligible subsidiary then flights operated by Vueling don't count for earning in the BA Avios scheme. As noted you can credit these to IB.

Just noticed that Vueling is launching new London Heathrow (T3) Palma from March 2013, I would have assumed that as it is part of One World gold silver benefits apply eg seat selection lounge access etc, would be amazed if they are not going from heathrow that you couldnt use BA lounge and have to pay for luggage etc, T3 is not really a low cost terminal, was really excited to read this as since bmi and ba LGW dropped the route only option was Ryanscare, Lousyjet or Cityflyer (not convenient). but i guess this airline at least leaves from Heathrow but a bit sad after getting silver to have no benefits.
