It's really to early IMHO to determine if the Andaz Ansterdam is worth its premium.
In my own experience and early assessment it clearly is.
I paid 243 Euros a night and received an excellent value^Were there problems yes.Were there some dissapointments yes.
Did the incredible team overcome almost every single obstacle times 5 yes.
Can most the early start up issues be fully adressed to a large degree? yes
As expected, the average rate for the next couple of months is in the high 200's.
A closeby competitor, the Pulitzer is available for some dates next year in the high 100's (BTT) and is on average probably 10-20% cheaper.
And with all due respect, we are talking about a 5 star hotel charging rates close to $400, so I do expect the staff to overcome certain obstacles...
