I've travelled Amtrak on many routes through the years, lucky enough to be able to travel in roomettes for overnight trips. I'm going to TPA from WPB in a few weeks (3.5 hours, midday) and usually just travel coach, but am considering a roomette...just because. I've always been curious...does train staff dislike short trips in roomettes, since they have to re-make the room? Just curious if anyone had any insight.
