I think OP might have heard about the company that sells AE miles to smaller businesses that then give them away to customers. Futura is in CCAA, but AE miles purchased by its clients have been safeguarded. AE itself is now AIMIA and operates programs around the world, including the Middle East, Mexico, the UK...
