Just returned from Philippines and strongly recommend Bohol as there was much to see and it's quite interesting. It was relatively untouched by the war so there are a lot of old churches and such as well as the Chocolate Hills, tarsiers, river cruise and so on. We stayed on Panglao Island where there is a good assortment of hotels in all price levels. The views of the ocean are stunning, especially at sunset. BTW, those singers at the Tagbilaran Airport are blind. I hope Jet Ranger dropped a few pesos in their box since he found them so hilarious.
