How did you do the "investigating"? In my OP, I first had to find a branch, with human tellers, and I was hoping that they could direct me to the people who serviced the atms at the shopping mall (for the machines that do dispense cash, someone has to put it in the machines)--I realized that it would be too much of a headache, so I called my bank in the USA, had them cancel the card and issue me a new one, which I will get back in the USA. I had enough US dollars to convert into SF's that would last me for my relatively short stay in Switz.
