Will it survive brutal places like JFK where I've had so many checked bags be damaged?
I used Travelpro exclusively since 1995 and put up with all their bull on simple warranty claims. They might have new policies, but in the past, it was very difficult to get simple stuff (broken zipper, wheel issues, etc.) fixed under warranty. They always have the option of "damaged by airline" and they are done with your claim. The EagleCreek stuff is very well made and guaranteed even if the airline is rough with it. I have been using my 28" Tarmac quite a bit lately and it is not prone to the same stuff all my lines of Travelpro were. It looks a bit "light" when you get it, but it is made of some very good materials and the q/c seems very good also.
