Tourists beware: classic Scots thuggery

Even the Record weighs in with an admission of shame:

http://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/news/sc...us-all-1447908

Typical of the young delinquents in the UK, especially Scotland, to randomly attack older Spanish tourists.

The most interesting thing about this is the attacker's statement via counsel: ""He really is apologetic for having got involved in this and the effect this may have had on tourists to Perth. He was not aware of their identity at the time."

So, to these thugs, they didn't "intend" to attack the Spanish, but the statement indicates it is acceptable and reasonable to attack certain people walking on the High Street at 1030pm. English? Germans? Which "effect" was desired?

Despite the evidence, the writer then states: "We are a tolerant nation, revered around the world for our hospitality and generous spirit."

Scotland can be a dangerous place for tourists. And some residents.
