Indeed, that is what I meant.
It could be that BAEC Gold is easier to achieve than DM, but they are both emerald and give the same lounge benefits worldwide.

Regarding the Wing F, I do not believe that CCR (or Lufthansa FCLs) will be "beaten", far from it.
The problem faced by CX is the lack of space at HKIA. I have seen the map of new Wing and there is not that much that you can do within approximately the same space. OK, the restaurant is a bit enlarged, but that is in part at the expense of the currently free side-garden space. So more tables, but not much more space. And as long as DMs and Emerald have access tothe lounge, it will not have the private feel and space of CCR. But where would you put all the DMs and Emeralds if you create a specific Emerald lounge, à la BA?
I hope to be proven wrong, but I do not see how the F wing can compete with F lounges at LHR, FRA, AUH or DXB. BTW, I love the cigar lounge (cigars provided) by a couple of these lounges. Just try any of those and will understand the difference. Unfortunately, space is a huge constraint at HKIA.
PS:I have not tried the Private Lounge, but I heard that it is not bad.
