AA should check the bags through. Show then the QF ticket when you check in at MSP. The AA flight could arrive almost anywhere at DFW. The QF flight leaves from Terminal D. All terminals at DFW are connected airside, both by walkways and the Skylink.

A D-I connection at DFW shouldn't take any more then 20 or so mins between gates.
