I own a 2010 Toyota Corolla. The newer ones I rent from Hertz often have more miles on them than my own.
I have twice recently rented Nisson Versas from Hertz with mileage in the 25k+ range. The first of the two rattled and clanged everytime I turned a corner. On the second one the door warning light was on most of the trip. I opened and closed all doors several times on that trip to no avail. A high mileage Toyota beats a lot of other cars any day.
