We had a wonderful three-night stay in the Palmer suite in February. Due to a strike they couldn't give us a tour of the tea factory. But, on one of our hikes we met the owner of another tea factory and he gave us our own personal tour. We did the tea tasting and it was interesting. Our driver and guide stayed nearby, but we didn't feel the need to leave Castleragh and was content on hiking and enjoying the vistas.

Amangalla was wonderful as well, however due to our tardiness in booking we ended up with a room right off the lobby. It was however very quiet and we had no regrets. Be sure to have dinner on the front porch. Olivia was a wonderful.

I must say the most difficult drive of our trip was between Amangalla & Tea Trails.
