BA going the extra mile
Thought i'd share our experience today on lhr-edi. Away for a weekend with friends in London and our youngest takes ill this morning and we wonder if we should try and return this morning rather than this evening. Travelling on reward tickets so think it must be a bit of long shot but on phoning and explaining the situation the guy couldn't be more helpful and changed everything on the phone there and then for free. I'm gold which I know gives you extra redemption availability and no service fees but maybe this is the hidden benefit of gold - a bit more flexibility when you need it. Makes a nice contrast anyway to share when things go well rather than the other way round.
