I don't think rental companies will do that. They all usually require a deposit (can be as much as your rental fee cost I think) that is put on hold probably to ensure that you can pay them. Only other thing I can think of is to use a debit card and I'm not sure if they will accept that. Wouldn't make sense to use that either. A credit card will be best since most also offer some kind of additional coverage for any accidental damages.
