Indeed. Which is fortunate as the double deckers don't seem to have enough room for two people to stand inside together at the same time.

I would agree that the economy compartments downstairs in these cars are somewhat cramped. However, by contrast, the deluxe compartments upstairs are very spacious (much more so than the deluxe compartments in the single-deck Comfortline cars).
When I booked the CNL trip 2 years go, this deluxe compartment was what I expected. A bit disappointed to find the Comfortline cabin when we boarded in Firenze..
