So I spoke to BA and they said that in this case they will only credit the TPs for the flights flown - apparently the involuntarily rerouting exception only applies for bookings made with BA!

AA have noted the issue but I'm not hopeful given the liaison that will be required between AA ticketing and BAEC.

Ps bad luck continues....sitting on BA205 to MIA 30 mins after scheduled departure and we're waiting for a passenger's bags to be offloaded as s/he's lost their passport. What are the odds the AA flight to SCL will be trouble-free?!

Pps I'm certain there will be a thread on it, but has tonight's planned maintenance by BAEC kicked off early as all of my bookings have disappeared!
