You got an uninformed Metro agent, apparently. Unless she meant there are no direct buses from Hobby to Webster. You will probably have to change somewhere. Less than one mile from your hotel is a very large metro park&ride site, and there is another large parking area next to the freeway where people get on the buses - that is also less than a mile from your hotel in the other direction. I suggest calling back and telling the metro agent you need to get from Hobby airport to the Clear Lake/NASA-JSC area. Webster is really part of that. The #246 bus should be involved somehow if I remember correctly. I'd take the bus from the airport and take a cab back. You will be more pressed for time on the return, probably. How are you planning to get around once you arrive? Are you too young to rent a car?
