I'm booked to fly out tomorrow LGW-TPA (BA J)-MIA (AA F) -SCL (AA J) on the outbound leg of a trip booked on aa.com. I planned the transit through TPA to maximise TPs to trigger the GUF2.
Thing is, I received an email from BA at 10pm this evening saying that tomorrow's flight to TPA will be departing 4 hours later than scheduled which would mean that I'd miss my connection to SCL.
I spoke to a very helpful lady at AA in the US who managed to book me on the BA205 to MIA (on the AA codeshare) so that I can make my onward flight to Santiago. Whilst I'm grateful for her getting me out of a hole, do I have a legitimate reason to ask BA for the 60 TPs I'm missing out on?
