This seems to be a common occurrence in Dahab. Same happened to me when I was there in 1996 or so staying at the Hilton. Flash flood took place before we arrived. Wasn't quite as bad but the bar/pool hall floor was severely warped and the Marriott up the road was totally shut down.

As for how 10K = 3 nights. The property is a Cat 2.
