Actually the masks can automatically be deployed if it reaches an unsafe altitude. If the masks don't deploy automatically the captain can manually release the masks by pressing a button. On new aircrafts such as Airbus an automated message will come on stating" Place the masks over your nose and mouth before assisting others who require assistance although the masks may not inflate you are still receiving oxygen".

I don't think WN would pay to clean your underwear lot where did that comment come from? While you could "loose it" wouldn't you rather have dirty underwear over being dead?
