Agree you're cutting it close - I've been on at least one AA flight where we had to park remotely, deplane by airstairs then bus to the main terminal to do transit security - which lengthens the transit time just a little more. You can show security your baggage claim checks too and they'll accept that to go through. Two hours would give you much more peace of mind; having said that if you arrive on time you should theoretically be able to make it.
