Drinking the cabin out of fizz every time one flies says it's okay take advantage on someone else's dime, or let's just say it, could be the sign of an untreated alcoholic.
With sophisticated software able to match up online activity with who one actually is in real life more and more—with that data actively up for sale—I'm not so sure it's all that smart to admit to financial tendencies or problems with alcohol so openly on the internet.
A case in point: There was a case a few years back concerning a slip and fall incident at a supermarket here in the States. The company alleged the victim was partially at fault simply due to a few bottles of wine showing up on the purchase history of his supermarket loyalty card. They were successful in establishing a sense of doubt of if the victim was in full control of his faculties at the time of the accident, even though no sobriety test had been done at the scene.
Drinker beware.

Not sure why that's relevant to the quality of champagne being served in the CCR at JFK?
For those who are disinterested in the champagne offerings - and members of the champagne apathy club, why read a topic about the champagne offerings?
The drink options are part and parcel of the BA product, surely we're allowed to discuss it here? Those of us who enjoy a glass or two (or three or four) of champagne or any other tipple don't need to justify ourselves.
BTW - it's not someone else's dime, the cost of the drinks is included in the ticket price!
