I am looking at flying into NRT from DFW on American. The flight is supposed to arrive in NRT at 2:05pm. I would like to connect to a Cathay Pacific flight to Taipei that leaves NRT at 3:25pm. Is 1hr 20min enough time at NRT to connect between AA and Cathay? I will have checked baggage. Will I have to go through any security at NRT? Will I have to recheck my bags again at NRT?

This is my first time traveling overseas, so I'm not really sure how this works.
