'The Best of everything' ~ and whilst she may have been able to switch the fizz on board, I would suggest that it is more about perception on the ground.....

I asked one of my staggeringly wealthy friends what he would do if he walked into the Concorde room and saw bottles of the cheap stuff, having shelled out for a F ticket.

He laughed, said it would never happen, thought about it and said 'Well obviously I would not feel valued; I suppose I would just fly club.........'

So, whether this represents the views of anybody else, B.A, the 'enhancement' would save you a couple of quid per passenger, but stand to cost you many thousands of pounds in reality..........
