The concept is relatively simple. If you want to have extra space while flying in Economy, then you can do so by paying an extra GBP99-GBP199 to have the seat next to you empty

I can see the most value in this if you are travelling alone and are in a 2-3-2 layout. You could get a window seat but have guaranteed access to the aisle and have more room to move about (without the risk of anyone stealing the extra space you've paid for).
