I know that you can redeem through BW for gift cards too. Probably not as good a value as the straight redemption, since I think it's something like 24000 for $100 GC. At the same time, when you book and pay with gift cards you can still accumulate points on that stay, and at the time of year you're going they'll probably have the stay X amount of nights for a free night promo going on; which you wouldn't be able to take advantage of under a straight redemption. Just something else to consider
