The multi-city tool is notoriously broken in some circumstances. If you can get something to show up there, you can certainly book it -- but lots and lots of valid itineraries will not show up on multicity.

Use the online tool to search for one-way Saver availability, by individual segments if necessary (e.g., if you want to go SEA-CDG and return LHR-SFO, you should start by doing one-way searches from SEA-CDG and from LHR-SFO, and then if necessary start searching SEA-IAD / IAD-CDG individually. Etcetera). Once you've found availability, try to book it on multi-city, and if that fails (as it likely will) call to book.
