One problem is that the online tool forces me into routes with min connection times, eg. SFO-SIN-BOM it forces me to take SQ1 over SQ15 on the SFO-SIN leg (I prefer day time flights).

I wonder if you can book online and then call to change the flight (and still take advantage of the online discount?
