Yeah that's what I was referring to by if you somehow still end up on an A340-200, occasionally in the past 6 months (after they were all supposedly retired) I've seen one parked up in PER for the day before it flies back to JNB
Perth, Accra, Buenos Aires and Sao Paulo seem to be the preferred longhaul routes on which the A340-200 is substituted in my experience.
