Works for me. Tried a couple of different classes and routes and no problems with any of them.
Do you currently have miles in your account? I was going to use membership rewards points and transfer them to KrisFlyer miles when I found the flight I wanted, but I haven't done that yet, so at this point I have 0 miles.
I wonder if not having any miles has something to do with it.
