To reiterate what others have already said, this was a masterpiece of a trip report. I had the pleasure to read it in full while traveling in United p.s. last week. While I've read many a Seat 2A thriller at home with a cocktail in hand, I prefer reading about your trips while in the air at a window seat.

I'm taking off on Cathay in First from JFK to South Africa in two weeks, and I look forward to visiting some of the haunts I've read about on your many accounts of the country.
