We used points to redeem for BW gift cards since at that time I was able to book a great rate at the BW Park Place Inn and Suites. It's just a bit down the street from the Anaheim Inn and I found the location to be excellent. Not sure how many points are required for a free night, but you may want to look into it. While it doesn't include breakfast you could easily pick up a quick bite at La Brea Bakery before entering the park. Rooms were an adequate size and clean.
I stayed there last time I was there in 2011 and used gift cards I redeemed with Airmiles! Great minds think alike!
And, when we were there, it included breakfast - so not sure if that changed recently?
I'd stay there again, but the points redemption is SUPER high (28,000 a night compared to Stovalls which is only 16,000 - for essentially the same rate!). Still thinking of transferring my points to Aeroplan and paying cash for my stay and earning points, but we'll see! Still 3 months away!
