A few years ago there was a distinct difference between a full size (Camry, Taurus) and a premium (Grand Marquis). Premium was larger, more powerful engine, leather was a given, etc. Nowdays the lines have blured. I am currently driving a Fusion SEL (FCAR). It has leather, heated seats, Sync, etc. I would take it any day over the basic Maxima, but the Lacrosse is a different story. It is a true premium car, especially with the upper trims. The more important question to ask nowdays, is what level trims are available.
