PLi is a great cover for flyin allowances. Without the PLI certain pilots were getting 2000-5000 per month as salary which incidentally is not due anymore. However as of date even after paying 2 PLI's around Diwali, 3 months PLI is still due which will become 4 in the next 10 days.

Its surely NOT 2000-5000: more like 25-30k for a Flight attendant.
Couldnt talk to the pilots, but I asked this question to a cabin attendant inflight, and she mentioned that they have been receiving their salaries and flying allowances but not the PLI.
From what I understand, PLI was a pmAI feature, started when Thulasidas was CEO. There was some sabre-rattling over whether it would apply to pmIC staff after merger and the issue was hanging fire. My understanding is these PLI were held back interim to a final decision on issue.
