A340's are showing signs of wear now.
So are the A330s. I've flown at various times on the entire A330 fleet this year and I think every single aircraft has had something or the other inoperative - ranging from IFE screens to blocked seats due to broken recline to lavatories sealed off.
That said, after having to deal with ZS-SLF (the last A340-200) a couple times this year, I'll take the A330s any day of the week!
