Thanks for the responses. I think I have wheelchairphobia. Kinda like once you get in you'll never get out sort of feeling. Plus I hate drawing attention to myself and was thinking just having an airport rep be able to nonchalantly get me access to the special needs line would not draw much attention. My real concern is LHR. I've spent over 60 minutes waiting to clear there, even with the quick lane pass. I can do a line as long as it's moving, but LHR can be a long standstill in the afternoon. Maybe I'll change my flight to one of the morning arrivals.
