Dunno how well padded your rear is, but the seat cushions in the exit rows on the CRJs tend to be thinner and less padded. I don't notice it much. I prefer the Exit row on flights like that because I've been stuck in an EC row with a passenger of size in the past, and that seems to happen less frequently in the Exit rows.
