Speaking from experience of having family who are scared of flying i would focus on telling her what the aircraft will do rather than the cabin crew. The main three things that get them worried:

1. Noise as flaps are retracted/extended
2. Gear up/down
3. Reduction in thrust ~1 minute after takeoff
