I'm not a tremendous fan of Bangkok Airways, but for those coming from SE Asia, there are same-day connections to this flight from a lot of places, eliminating the need to overnight in SIN, KUL, CMB, MLE, or worry about the domestic Maldivian flights.
Unfortunately, this flight (PG 711 from BKK) has been landing late into MLE (despite being scheduled to land before 4pm), and I was informed that it's no longer possible to catch a seaplane to the Conrad same-day. Kind of bummed, as I'm not really looking forward to a domestic flight and speedboat after a long day of flying on our upcoming reservation. Oh well.
