Hi there, I'm new to this forum. I recently got the US Airways dividend miles credit card (40k miles after first use) and I am planning a trip to Asia next year. I have a simple question:

One of the terms of the US Airways credit card is the cardholder can redeem roundtrip tickets for 5,000 miles less. Does this discount apply to booking any Star Alliance flights, or does it apply to booking US Airways flights only?

I read the thread of how to redeem US Airways miles on other Star Alliance tickets, as well as other threads on the FF forums, but I can't find the answer to my question. Really appreciate if you can answer my question!
