The best value award probably changes on a regular basis, varies by stay date, and, IMHO, is a subjective opinion.

You could probably post a hotel in Uzbekistan where I can can "earn" 15 cents per point, but that has no value to me as I don't want to go there. It may be valuable for someone else.

From a purely monetary standpoint, rates change on a daily basis and are different for different dates, stay durations, etc. One or two folks have created Google Docs spreadsheets with specific monetary redemption values for a specific point in time as a start - a search will probably find them. The fact that these threads aren't widely known, actively discussed, or turned into a sticky, probably shows the ephemeral value of such a post.

Now, if you could create a dynamic spreadsheet that scraped the best rates and redemption values for every property, for every day and stay duration over the 18 month reservation window, and posted that calculated values on a near real-time basis, a sticky with a link to that could be valuable.
