Why not just build on the old naming system; what was wrong with that? It seemed to work fine. Now it just confuses me. I guess you would say I should've transitted DXB a lot less in the past.

Change for the sake of change is never a good thing (I am a retred IT manager so I should know about such things). Just as well that most pax transitting DXB do not visit DXB airport as much as I do.

And, BTW someone (me) has to be objective. We can't all be starry eyed, can we. You may call it negative. I call it realistic.
