It is good to see that Emirates have greatly reduced their product to fall in line with their new partner.

Friends have just completed a BNE-DXB-CDG-x-ROM-DXB-BNE flight in J all on EK and tell me they would not fly them again. Service quality was abysmal.

This is the opposite of my own experience last year on EK also in J where I rated EK J ROM-DXB-SYD above QF F MEL-HKG-LHR.
