Although I'm not all that familiar with the Philadelphia suburbs, last time I was in this same situation I was working in Conshohocken and I found returning the car to 30th St. Station in Philadelphia and catching the Acela to be easy. There's a Hertz location right at the station that's open late, and they accept after-hours drop offs.
