One time Bruce Vilach and his partner were in the lobby. Wearing one of his T-shirts I talked to him for a couple minutes and he was really nice and I asked if my friend could take a pic of me and him and he told my friend to get in the pic as well and to let his partner snap the photo

In June of 2010 during gay pride weekend, I was staying there and Sharon Gless and the cast of Hannah free were all there doing some chairty event for a gay and lesbian police and firefighters benefit in one of the ballrooms and she was staying a couple doors down from me. I saw her before the event and told her how much I loved her in QAF and cagney and lacey and she was thrilled I mentioned cagney and Lacey and introduced me to her husband that produced the show and she told me I should come down for the reception. I went down and forget what the donation was to get in but you got a free dvd of Hannah free, the book and some other merchandise and the cast signed it for you if you wanted. When I got to sharon she told me she had something for me and asked me for my first name and personalized a DVD set of Cagney and Lacey's first season. I chatted with her ad her husband some more that night in the exec lounge. Great lady.
