Thanks for the welcome, and the info!
I decided to take the leap and went and booked my ticket.
RBC uses Travelocity for online reward bookings, and in the process there is unfortunately nowhere to see what fare class you're looking at.
However, after the booking was completed, I went to the Delta website and checked my details, and found the following:

Now, assuming that indeed we're looking at the fare classes here (L&M respectively), it should all be good according to the list in the link so helpfully provided by Irishguy28.
