Hello,

I have a trip with my +1 to Nice. We will be there May 2nd-6th 2013.. I purposely chose these dates to avoid being around for the EPT, Grand Prix, Cannes Film etc. But it seems like hotel prices are still sky high for my dates.

Is this because of how far it is away? Or are hotel prices going to be this expensive even for my dates? Radisson Blu and the Le Meridien are both 200EUR+ currently.All my preferred rates like 2For1 with Club Carlson, friends and family rates etc are all not available starting April 2013 and I have seen these properties at 120EUR~ for other dates. Not sure if they will load them... Any opinions on if the rate will drop or not?


Also, what is the best way to get from hotels on the beach(Le Meridien/Radisson Blu) to Monaco for a day trip? Prices for this?


Is there also any advice on how to get from the Airport to the radisson blu or le meridien besides a taxi with 1 luggage? It's our first time here so if it's complicated I would pay for the taxi as we don't want to be stressed out and lost...But I hear the taxi's are super expensive for a short ride from the airport to hotel. Would definitely take the savings if it isn't too hard to get to the airport using a different method.
