Fox News in Chicago (leave it to FOX) has already run TWO stories on the 9pm news on today's outage. One on the outage itself; one to the effect of 'will United ruin your holiday plans given their unreliability.' It was shot today mainly in T1 with lots of 'once a year' type flyers where someone drove for hours to pick them up horror stories to scare the peeps + a couple folk in business attire talking about missed meetings to scare the overentitled.

Smisek is a walking PR liability at this point.

I've got the popcorn ready for the next earnings call...should be fascinating if the 2nd half of the quarter is anything like the first half.

Hearing "Smisek is gone and we're going to right the ship and apologize profusely to everyone--our employees, our customers," of course, would be better to hear.
