Really? I avoided booking acroos my daughters 2nd birthday next May because the BA booking site said "your booking can't be completed as Philco junior will turn 2 before the return leg - please call BA" or similar. I assumed I'd be charged full fare for the return leg. Was I wrong? If so I might well book to travel across her birthday.
